I have fixed my comment problem!!!

As y’all know, I’ve had a comment problem for a while. Furthermore, I decided to put my new layout on hold untill I get it fixed.
Now it’s fixed.

Thanks to Simon Ward of Pingable.org and Justin Scheetz of DesignSnack.com for suggesting that I upgrade my version of MySQL.
That’s what I did, and it worked!

Now to get on with the new layout…

But don’t worry - I’ll still keep the blog updated.
I have two post series that I am researching for, so stay tuned!

Two days ago I said that I was leaving.
That was October 18th.

According to Feedburner, since then, I have lost a quarter of my RSS subscribers.

Although, Feedburner’s stats can be quite subjective - they only show how many RSS Readers checked your blog that day. So, they aren’t always accurate.

But to lose a quarter of your RSS Subscribers?!?
That’s a bit much.

Furthermore, my daily visitors halved.

Conclusion: Don’t tell your visitors you’re leaving for the weekend. Just get some scheduled posts in que, and don’t worry about your blog.

But that leads me to the next part of this post.
After losing a quarter of my RSS Subscribers, I want to keep the rest that I have.
Thus, I have a question for you.

Where do you want plainbeta to go?

-What kind of posts do you want to see?
-Do you want any new features added to plainbeta?

And finally, if you are one of those people who un-subscribed from my blog, why did you leave?

As you can tell, plainbeta has a new theme - furthermore, plainbeta also has a new logo.
Again.

Why?

Again, as you have noticed - I have been having some problems with comments.
I haven’t been sure what the problem is, so the new layout has been an attempt to try and discover the problem.
Now I now the layout isn’t the problem. - and I don’t know what is.

If anyone has any ideas what is going wrong, could you please contact me?
Or, if you know anyone who can help, please direct them here or direct me to them.

Ok, so the logo.
After all, plainbeta has had two new logos within a month.

But I have finally anchored this one into place.
I have also started on the design and coding of my custom layout.

When I finalize it more, I’ll give y’all a sneak-peek but untill then you’ll have to content yourselves with this.
As same as the past, please feel free to share any suggestions.

I am going to put my custom layout on hold untill I get these comment glitches worked out.
UPDATE: (10.14.07 - later that day)
I now have the top commentors plug-in installed.
I shall now hold monthly compititions, with ‘prizes.’ (More info on that to come)
